On 29 April 2023, artists Tan Pin Pin and Amanda Heng held a conversation at Kampong Bahru Bus Terminal to discuss their creative processes and the notion of “simplicity” in practice in relation to Tan Pin Pin’s latest public art commission walk walk (Singapore Deviation version). The artist talk, moderated by SAM curator Selene Yap, was presented as part of the launch of Singapore Deviation: Wander with Art through the Rail Corridor. The public art trail is commissioned by The Everyday Museum, a public art initiative of Singapore Art Museum, with the generous support of Sun Venture.
